Dr. Ameer Tamoor Khan

Bio:
Ameer Tamoor Khan received BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences, in 2017. He joined Cyber Physical Lab as a research assistant at Hong Kong Polytechnic University, in 2017–18. He got his Ph.D. from Department of Computing at Hong Kong Polytechnic University and is now working as a postdoc researcher in Hong Kong Polytechnic University. His field of research includes, control system, optimization, and robotics path planning.

Bio:
Xinwei Cao received the bachelor’s degree from Shandong University, Jinan, China, 2009, the master’s degree from Tongji University, Shanghai, China, in 2012, and the Ph.D. degree from Fudan University, Shanghai, China, in 2017. She is currently a full Professor with Jiangnan University, China. Her research interests include operations research, operational management, computational and quantitative finance, empirical asset pricing, and financial market.

Prof. Vasilios N. Katsikis

Vasilios N. Katsikis received the bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Athens, Greece, in 1997, and the M.Sc. degree in applied mathematics and the Ph.D. degree in mathematics from the National Technical University of Athens, Athens, in 2000 and 2006, respectively.,He is currently an Associate Professor of mathematics and informatics with the Division of Mathematics and Informatics, Department of Economics, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Prof. Min Luo
Zhejiang University, China
Bio:
Dr. Min Luo is a Research Professor at the Ocean College of Zhejiang University (ZJU). He obtained BEng from the Harbin Institute of Technology and PhD from the National University of Singapore (NUS). Prior to joining ZJU, he worked as a Lecturer in the Zienkiewicz Centre for Computational Engineering at Swansea University and a post-doctor at NUS. Dr. Luo’s research concentrates on the development and application of advanced CFD models including particle methods for exploring the physics behind wave/current interaction with marine/coastal structures. The topics that currently interest him include freak wave impacting fixed/floating ocean structures, wave overtopping seawall/breakwater, liquid sloshing and machine-learning-based flow prediction/control.
